Niamh Mallon is a children’s Occupational Therapist with almost 20 years’ experience. She has worked with the NHS and HSE in senior clinical roles and managing paediatric OT services. Niamh has a special interest in the areas of Developmental Co-Ordination Disorder (DCD)/Dyspraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), handwriting difficulties, sensory processing difficulties, early intervention (working with babies and toddlers) and the provision of school-based OT services.
Niamh has undertaken post-graduate training in approaches including Sensory Integration, Bobath/Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Handwriting Without Tears, CO-OP, The Alert Programme, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), Newborn Behavioural Observations, Baby Massage, Baby Yoga and Advanced Kinesiotaping.
Aside from being an Occupational Therapist, Niamh is a mother, enjoys outdoor activities and volunteers as a Community First Responder.
